At Meva1 Engineering's in-house building materials laboratory we test concrete cores, aggregates, reinforcing steel and soil samples to TS EN standards. Without queueing at third-party labs, we feed our seismic analysis, strengthening and condition-assessment workflows with first-party data.

A full-service engineering partner for earthquake-resilient buildings

Meva1 Mühendislik ve İnşaat delivers end-to-end engineering services for residential, commercial and industrial buildings across Turkey. From the first existing building condition assessment to a finished turnkey construction handover, every project is engineered to the Turkish Building Earthquake Code (TBDY 2018) and aligned with TS EN material standards.

Our integrated workflow combines seismic retrofitting, seismic performance analysis and structural design under one roof, supported by an in-house building materials laboratory. International and expat clients work directly with licensed Turkish engineers who manage permits, design and site execution.

Urban renewal and in-place transformation under Law 6306

Meva1 supports owners and cooperatives through the full urban renewal cycle defined by Law 6306, including risky building reports, demolition coordination, and replacement project design. Where demolition is not required, our in-place transformation route lets residents stay while the structural system is reinforced.

Each engagement starts with a documented existing building condition assessment and concludes with a verified building strengthening scheme. We balance occupant disruption, programme and cost so that urban transformation projects remain feasible for ordinary apartment owners, not just large developers.

Specialist strengthening: FRP, jacketing and steel mantling

Where buildings need targeted intervention, Meva1 applies FRP repair and strengthening using carbon and glass fibre systems for columns, beams and slabs. Reinforced concrete jacketing, steel mantling and shear wall additions are detailed by the same team that runs the earthquake analysis.

Material decisions are validated by our accredited building materials laboratory, where concrete cores, rebar samples and masonry units are tested to TS EN protocols before any structural strengthening drawing is finalised.

Project management, consultancy and turnkey delivery

For investors and institutional clients, Meva1 acts as engineer of record and provides project management and consultancy across feasibility, tender, construction supervision and final acceptance. We coordinate architects, MEP designers and contractors so that schedule, budget and seismic performance targets are met together.

When clients prefer single-point responsibility, our turnkey construction contracts cover design, permits, build-out and handover. Completed works are documented in our project portfolio, with field photography in the site gallery.
